After Long quest for good Film scanner, I finally found this piece of gem at a bargain price. It is Epson Perfection V370 Photo which cost around US$150 here in Thailand.
Browsing through its specs, I found it suitable for my needs. I strongly recommend to all beginners/amateurs to fetch this scanner. Last but not least, it works well with Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) - drivers can be downloaded at Epson USA
